TERMS AND CONDITIONS
BOOKING:
A one hour minimum is required. Travel fees may apply to events more
than 25 miles from the 15904 zip code. Please use Google
Maps to determine mileage. Once your date is confirmed this signed
service contract and a non-refundable retainer fee of $25 must be received
within five days to hold your date. This amount is put towards your total
amount due. The remaining balance must be paid in full at the time of the
event. Entire payment must be paid should you cancel within 24 hours of
your event. Client agrees to pay the full amount due for time booked even
if less time is used. Payment is accepted by cash or check.
RETURNED
CHECKS: There will be a $35 fee for
returned checks, in addition to the
amount of the check.
ADDITIONAL
TIME: Please book enough time for me to handle all of your guests,
approximately 10 people per hour for face painting and 15 people per hour for
glitter tattoos. I may not be available to work additional time if we have
another party booked after yours. If I am available to stay, time will be
charged in half hour increments and must be paid at the time of the event.
LIABILITY
STATEMENT: All face paint and body glue used comply with FDA cosmetic
regulations. As with any cosmetic, some people may develop sensitivity to one
of the ingredients. If you have any concerns regarding a reaction to the
products, a patch test can be done 1/2 hour in advance. Artists are not liable
for any allergic reactions. It is the parents responsibility to
notify us if their child has sensitive skin. Artists will use reasonable
care, but are not responsible for damage to clothing or property. If
clothing comes in contact with paint products, treat with a stain removal
product and launder in cold water. Hot water will set the stain.
SAFETY:
For the Health and Safety of all guests, I will not apply paint or glitter
tattoos to children who are unwilling or are not old enough to understand what
we are doing. I will not paint the face of anyone who is or appears to be sick,
has a runny nose/eyes or obvious illness. I such cases I am happy to paint a
hand, arm or leg instead. Paint or
glitter tattoos will not be applied to any area of skin that has an open cut,
sore, rash or skin condition of any kind.
LIMITATIONS:
I will not paint signs, symbols or designs that are in any way offensive or illegal.
Nor will I paint on any part of the body normally covered by a swim suit or any
area that I do not feel comfortable painting.
SUPERVISION:
Parents/Guardians are responsible for the behavior and safety of children
present. I am not liable for any injuries should they occur. Please
do not allow children to touch the work table, products or equipment.
WORKING
CONDITIONS: Proper weather conditions must be present in order for me to
work outside. In any case a covered area is required. The face
painting table must be set up away from DJ's, bands and aggressive activities
in an area that has adequate lighting.
INSURANCE:
I am insured by Bodyworks Insurance and have PA Child Abuse
History Clearance, Criminal Background Clearance, and FBI Fingerprint Clearances.
PARKING:
Parking must be provided for the artists near the event location. If close
parking cannot be arranged, the client will provide people to help unload
equipment. Any parking fees incurred will be paid by the client.
PHOTO
CONSENT AND RELEASE: By having your guests face painted and photographed,
permission is thereby granted to use images for our portfolio, marketing
materials such as printed brochures or website gallery images. No names
are ever revealed for any reason. If for any reason you do not
agree, please inform us and you and your guests' privacy will be
respected.

Type of Event and Pricing:
Small Private Event: (example: birthday party)
$50.00 for first hour
and a half (15 faces or less, more time will be needed for more faces)
$10.00 for each additional half hour.
Large Private Event (example: Family Reunion)
$80.00 for first hour and a half
$20.00 for each additional half hour
Public/Corporate Events: (Example: Company Picnic)
$100.00 for the first hour and a half
$50.00 for each additional half hour
Non-Profit/Charity Events:
Special Pricing may be considered for these events.
Glitter Tattoos:
Glitter Tattoos may be added to any event for an additional
$10.00 charge.
Pay Per Face Event:
Instead of paying a flat rate and allowing your guests to
enjoy unlimited face painting you may choose to have a Pay Per Face (PPF)
event. In this case, on only a $25 fee will be charged and your guests will pay
per face. Cost of PPF designs vary based on the coverage, amount of detail, and
whether or not glitter, or gems are used to create the look.
Set Up Fees for ALL events:
A tent or covering of some sort is required to protect the
painter and paints from weather conditions, two like size chairs, a table, and
access to water is required for me to adequately perform my art. If these
things are provided by the client, a set up fee is waved. If these things
cannot be provided, I can bring my own, but there will be a set up fee charged
in addition to the prices listed above.
Travel Fees for ALL Events:
There is not travel fee for local events of any size or
type. However, if a venue is more than 25 miles from the 15904 zip code I will need to charge a travel fee to account
for the cost of gas and wear and tear on my vehicle. The fee is $20.00 for up
to an additional 25 miles and $3.00 for every 5 mile increment thereafter.
